Tolerances in Symbolic Network Analysis

Tolerances of electronic circuit parameters play an important role in our judgement of circuit functionality. They must be considered both at the circuit design and testing stages. This paper discusses a problem of tolerances in a symbolic network analysis. Using topological analysis combined with operations on discrete random variables, we can predict behavior of a circuit with toleranced parameters. Automatic simplification of symbolic network functions is used to facilitate operations on discrete variables representing network parameters. Our discussion is complemented m'th illustrative ezamples.
